How does one describe a stay at the exclusive and secluded resort COMO Parrot Cay? Pure Caribbean bliss! I was fortunate enough to visit with my family a few months ago to see for myself and clients just what this special place is all about. To say that it lived up to high expectations is putting it mildly!
Located just a few minutes’ boat ride from Providenciales (the most visited of the Turks & Caicos Islands), Parrot Cay feels a world away and offers privacy, tranquility, and lots of space – coveted attributes in a resort we’ve been seeking more than ever since Covid descended upon the world.
Upon arrival in Provo (common nickname for the island of Providenciales), we were whisked away by a COMO Parrot Cay representative to their private lounge and dock to await our boat ride to paradise. Champagne and snacks awaited, and before we knew it, my family was checked into our home for the next week and swimming in our pool overlooking the ocean.
There are a number of different accommodation types for guests to choose from, much of the decision dependent upon whether you’re visiting as a couple of family. My family of four booking a Two Bedroom Beachfront Villa with a private pool steps from the beach. This particular category comes with 24/7 butler service as part of the nightly room rate. Our butler was so warm and attentive that I had tears in my eyes saying good-bye to him on our day of departure. He thought of anything and everything we did not, even arranging a bonfire and s’mores one evening on the beach.
Please note that butler service can be added as an extra charge to the One Bedroom Beachfront Villas. And if you’re not booked in one of the villa categories, never fear, because service throughout the resort is stellar! Many of the staff hail from countries known for delivering world-class service such as Indonesia and receive top-notch training from COMO.
