Chileno Bay, Cabo San Lucas

My family traveled to Cabo San Lucas for spring break this year. I chose Cabo so we could see whales, ride camels (yes, you can ride camels in Cabo!), and sail around the famous Arch of Cabo San Lucas, but also to stay at recently opened Chileno Bay, the newest hotel in Auberge Resorts’ collection. For those of you familiar with Auberge hotels (think Auberge du Soleil, Calistoga Ranch and Esperanza to name a few), any property that falls under their umbrella is guaranteed to be extraordinary, and Chileno Bay proved to be no exception. The service, setting, design, and cuisine are outstanding.

Primland

My family and I recently snuck away for a long weekend to Primland, a rising star in the luxury hotel industry.  Located in the heart of the Blue Ridge mountains of Virginia, this glorious retreat sits on 12,000 pristine acres and is an ideal get-away for both families and couples seeking respite from the real world.

Caneel Bay, St. John

I recently returned from a magical stay at one of the Caribbean’s most beloved and iconic hotels – Caneel Bay on the island of St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands. This was my third visit to the property and a particularly special trip for me both personally and professionally, as I’d been invited to attend their 60th Anniversary Gala as a representative of the luxury travel industry. I was honored and excited to attend.

Malliouhana, an Auberge Resort, Anguilla

I just returned home from a blissful week on the magical island Anguilla, one of my favorite destinations in the Caribbean.  The main purpose of my visit was to stay at Malliouhana and experience it first-hand, as I’ve been regularly sending happy clients since it reopened in 2014 and wanted to see for myself just how special this iconic property really is.

Akumal and Tulum: The Southern Riviera Maya

I’ve just returned home from a special trip with my family to the southern Riviera Maya of Mexico. I’d been to the Riviera Maya a number of times before but never ventured this far south, where the crowds are sparser, the beaches are prettier, and the pace of life is generally slower.

Hotel L’Orologio – Venice, Italy

Trying to pick a hotel in Venice is not an easy task, as there are so many incredible choices! I relied on the advice of a trusted hotel supplier and decided to try a brand new hotel on the scene – Hotel L’Orologio.  Its funky contemporary vibe wasn’t the type of property I was initially envisioning for my stay in Venice. As it turned out, this property couldn’t have been more perfect for my family.  I loved it the minute I walked through the door.

Jade Mountain, St. Lucia

Where do I even begin? Jade Mountain, one of the most exclusive and spectacular properties in the Caribbean, is so special that it’s a bit difficult to describe the experience of staying here in a blog post.  Jaw-dropping, breath-taking, and surreal are some of the first words that come to mind.  And they don’t even begin to tell the whole story.
